Our proven L-589 grade continues to set the industry standard for tough industrial-duty air tools, air motors and air starters with over 30 years of use. Spaulding vane materials are also used in air compressor and fluid pump applications.

Features and Benefits

Spaulding vanes have a unique affinity for lubricating oil. They pick up oil readily and release it slowly over time, providing outstanding performance and extended tool life in lubricated air-tool applications.

Spaulding vanes have the ideal balance of hardness for long vane life and softness to minimize scoring or scratching of the cylinder or stator walls.

Spaulding vanes have outstanding mechanical performance and toughness to ensure long life in demanding applications.

Spaulding vanes can be fabricated in virtually any length and thickness free from warpage and distortion.

Grades

L-589: Spaulding's proven workhorse vane grade with all the features described above.
